1. Distillation
Put the black engine oil after sedimentation to remove the sediment into the distillation reactor, and then heat the distillation reactor. The distillate at 180°C is gasoline, the fraction at 180-360°C is diesel oil, and what is left is engine oil. If it is known that there are no impurities such as gasoline and diesel in the black engine oil, this step can be omitted.
2. Pickling washing
Prepare some acid, adjust the temperature to 35°C, and slowly add concentrated sulfuric acid accounting for about 5% to 8% of the oil volume under stirring. At this time, the concentrated sulfuric acid reacts with the colloid and asphalt-like impurities in the black engine oil.
3. Alkaline washing
This step of alkaline washing is to remove the organic acid in the black engine oil and the sulfuric acid remaining during the neutralization and pickling. When the yellow-green oil comes to the alkali tank, heat it to 90°C, slowly add sodium hydroxide accounting for 5% of the engine oil mass under stirring, and check the acidity and alkalinity of the engine oil.
